Qube Global Software has partnered with Block Management Utilities (BMU) to enable its residential Block Management customers to outsource the management of their utilities services, saving time, effort and costs.

Qube Global Software launched its Connect Partner Programme earlier this year, with the purpose of creating a network of software and service providers that will deliver better deals and improved service to customers.

Those signing up to BMU, the market leader in utility services to the sector, will be able to relinquish responsibility for energy bills relating to communal areas of their blocks, such as lobbies, lifts, exterior lighting and communal hot water systems. Through preferential relationships with utility suppliers, BMU delivers savings of 25% on average.

The service, which is free of charge, offers a dedicated Account Manager who handles billing, responds to any queries, carries out annual reviews and presents information to clients in simple and easy to understand format.

Paul Manning, Sales Director at Qube Global Software, said: “I have no doubt this new partnership will be hugely popular with Block Managers who can now leave the time-consuming business of utilities to the experts, saving huge amounts of time and money.”

James Riley, Sales Director at BMU added: “We’re delighted to become a Qube Connect Partner. Specifically serving the block management market, our service means one of the most complex and time consuming elements of the Block Management role can now be entirely outsourced and professionally managed by BMU. What makes us different to an energy broker is that we are a utility management company as well, proactively supporting our customers on an ongoing basis throughout the year. In addition, customers can earn revenue for every meter transferred and managed through BMU.”
